David’s life is dramatically changed when nine-year-old Danielle, another unwanted child, arrives. Bullied by the other children, they form a bond, sharing dreams of escape.
Their situation becomes intolerable after an incident, and David is threatened with a transfer to another home. When the opportunity to flee comes, they run away to the seaside. But will tragedy continue to follow the children?
