WASTED: THE COMPLETE SERIES

RELEASED ON DVD FOR THE FIRST TIME 3RD SEPTEMBER 2018

Sean Bean stars as a spirit guide, fixed in his role as Game of Thrones’ Ned Stark, in this surreal Channel 4 slacker comedy.

Wasted DVD Trailer

From the triple BAFTA winning writing team of James Lamont and Jon Foster (Paddington / The Amazing World of Gumball).

Having failed to make it as a DJ, Kent (Dylan Edwards High Rise) returns to his sleepy village to hang out with old schoolmate Morpheus (Danny Kirrane – Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge), Morpheus’ sister Sarah (Rose ReynoldsOnce Upon a Time) and her friend Alison (Gwyneth KeyworthMisfits).

The four were left on the scrapheap as others moved on with their lives and are now stuck in an aimless loop of cheap booze and drug-filled escapism. Gross-out gags and kidult cartoon humour combine with pop culture nods and weird yet warm characters.

Directed by Tom Marshall (Chewing Gum, Drifters), there are fast edits, musical cutaways and plentiful flights of fancy – involving Sean Bean as a spirit guide in the fevered imagination of Morpheus.

CRASHING: THE COMPLETE SERIES

RELEASED ON DVD FOR THE FIRST TIME 3RD September 2018

Created by and starring Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge. A very modern comedy about 20-somethings living together as property guardians in a disused hospital.

Crashing DVD Trailer

Rated 7.7 on IMDB and nominated for a BAFTA for Breakthrough Talent in 2017. Produced by BAFTA-nominee Kenton Allen (The Royle Family).

Ukulele-playing Lulu (Phoebe Waller-BridgeSolo: A Star Wars Story) is desperate to fit in and make herself popular with the rest of the gang living at the hospital. She and old friend Anthony (Damien Molony – Being Human) have a history and are just a little too flirty, but Kate (Louise Ford – The Windsors) his fiancée, tries to play it cool – with disastrous results.

Other oddball regulars include womanising posh boy Sam (Jonathan Bailey – Broadchurch), whose motto is “I’m an estate agent so I’m allowed to be a twat”; shy, excitable Fred (Amit Shah – The Rebel); and duck-out-of-water Colin (Adrian Scarborough – Gosford Park), a sullen, middle-aged recent divorcé. Lulu’s eccentric Great Aunt Gladys (BAFTA nominee Kathy Burke) also drops by with some unconventional assistance.

Nothing is quite as it seems as the friends fall in and out of love and deal with the consequences. Each episode brims with brazenly filthy humour and alarming twists of fate.
